Aramid Needle Felt
High-Temperature Dust Filter Cloth
Aramid needle felt (often referred to by the brand name Nomex® needle felt) is a non-woven dust filter cloth made from 100% aramid fibers. Known for its excellent heat resistance, abrasion resistance, and dimensional stability, aramid filter fabric performs reliably under continuous operating temperatures up to 200°C (392°F).
- High temperature resistance: Nomex needle-punched felt can be used in various dust collectors within 204℃, can work continuously at a temperature of 204℃, and the instantaneous working temperature can reach 240℃.
- Dimensional stability: At a high temperature of 230℃, the expansion rate of aramid needle-punched felt is only 1%.
- Fire retardant: It starts to decompose and carbonize at 400℃, and the limiting oxygen index (LOI) is 36. It does not spontaneously ignite or support combustion.
- Chemical corrosion resistance: It is not easy to react with chemicals such as acids and alkalis.
- Wear resistance: Nomex needle-punched felt also has good wear resistance and can adapt to various types of high-efficiency and high-intensity filtering work.
- In addition, nomex needle-punched felt also has the advantages of good air permeability, high dust collection efficiency, large dust holding capacity, and long service life.
